Rhino.ai is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our talented engineers in delivering scalable, impactful, and innovative solutions. Key responsibilities:

• Leadership & team development: Inspire, mentor, and develop a diverse team of engineers. Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where everyone can thrive.

• Strategic collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams—including product management, design, and other stakeholders—to align engineering efforts with business goals.

• Technical guidance: Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.

• Project oversight: Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed expectations.

• Code quality & reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards for code quality, reliability, and performance.

• Innovation & problem solving: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, integrating them into our processes and solutions where relevant.

• Collaboration with UI/UX: Work closely with design teams to ensure seamless integration of user interfaces with backend systems.

• Stakeholder communication: Translate technical requirements into actionable plans, effectively communicating progress and challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives that enhance team productivity, development workflows, and product performance.

Requirements

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent (or relevant experience).

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a

leadership or managerial role.

• Expertise in OutSystems and familiarity with Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask.

• Strong understanding of backend systems, including database technologies like PostGreSQL.

• Proficiency with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a working knowledge of integration best practices.

• Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies and leading teams in an Agile environment.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to balance technical depth with strategic oversight, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with cloud plaJorms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related services.

• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience designing and implementing micro-services architectures.

• Passion for mentoring and coaching team members to achieve their full potential.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
