Are you a results-driven professional with a strong focus on client success and project execution? Rhino.ai is seeking an Engagement Manager to join our Public Sector team in the Washington DC area. This role is crucial for managing the successful delivery of Rhino AI projects, ensuring new customers are effectively onboarded, and supporting the sales cycle through expert scoping and services proposal development. What You’ll Do:
Project Management & Delivery: Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for Rhino AI solution deployments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget to achieve high client satisfaction.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, fostering strong, long-term relationships, and acting as the voice of the customer internally.
Sales Support & Scoping: Partner with the Sales team to analyze prospective clients' business needs, accurately scope technical solutions, define project deliverables, and develop compelling services proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Customer Onboarding: Lead the post-sales process, ensuring a smooth transition for new customers, successful setup, and initial adoption of Rhino.ai’s solutions, setting the foundation for long-term success.
Agile Oversight: Oversee project execution methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum), facilitating planning, tracking progress, and mitigating project risks to ensure successful delivery.
Resource Coordination: Effectively coordinate and manage internal resources (Product, Engineering, Consulting teams) and partners to ensure projects are adequately staffed and executed.
Technical Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and services proposals.
Process Improvement: Analyze and understand client modernization processes, identifying areas for technology-driven improvement and serving as a trusted advisor.
Communication: Maintain regular and effective communication with clients and internal teams, providing clear updates on project progress and proactively addressing any challenges.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (IT, Engineering, etc.)
3+ years of experience in a client-facing role such as Engagement Manager, Project Manager within the IT or technology sector.
Proven ability to manage complex technology projects and develop professional documentation, including project plans and services proposals/SOWs.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working within Agile teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and explain project status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred but not required:
Experience managing professional services engagements with Public Sector clients
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project).
Strong customer service focus with excellent project planning and organizational skills.
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects, meeting goals and deadlines effectively.
Experience with SaaS deployments (such as ServiceNow, Appian, Salesforce, PowerApps).
Understanding of Project, Change, Configuration, and Release management practices.
Exposure to AI technologies and their application in solving business problems is a plus.
